Your new job
In your new job, you will belong to the Staff at the Technical Office, a central support function within the administration that provides support to both departments and the technical board.
Here, you will find expertise in finance, HR, communication, work environment, environmental and safety issues, board administration, IT, and procurement.
In your role as IT Coordinator/Project Manager, you will work with two colleagues to promote development within IT and digitalization by being a technical expert as well as a project manager for improvement projects, upgrades, and the introduction of new IT support. You will be responsible for improvements and efficiencies by continuously monitoring the external environment and being interested in the latest developments in your field, and then communicating this knowledge to the departments. You will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape working methods that truly make a difference.
The role involves many contacts internally within the organization and externally with suppliers, and is suitable for you who thrive in social contexts and understand the importance of building long-term and good relationships. You will be the bridge between the municipality's central Digitalization Department and the Technical Office's operations.
Your tasks
- Lead development projects – primarily within various digitalization projects
- Subject specialist - for some of the Technical Office's central IT support
- Coordinate IT governance - keep together and coordinate work towards municipality-wide guidelines as well as laws and requirements within the IT field
- Provide advice and support on IT issues – monitor the external environment and learn new things, assist employees within the Technical Office with small and large IT-related questions, hardware, telephony, AI, GDPR, cybersecurity, etc.
- Conduct training and workshops - lead internal forums and networks
Your qualifications
Personal abilities
You should be able to work independently and take responsibility. At the same time, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and can build good relationships. The work requires flexibility and decisiveness. You dare to lead, make decisions, take initiatives, and drive projects forward responsibly. Being a good communicator and educator who can convey messages clearly and understandably is important, both in writing and verbally.
Requirements
- Education with an IT focus at the university level, or several years of work experience in the field that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Experience in project management
- Broad technical knowledge and work experience in the IT field
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious
- Experience in change management
- Experience working with IT security and information security
- Experience leading workshops and networks
- Experience from the public sector or larger organizations
- Competence in the following areas:
- AI
- Data protection/GDPR/NIS
- Automation and e-services and digitalization of workflows
- Requirements specification
- Business development
- Process mapping
- Microsoft 365
- PM3

The recruitment concerns a permanent position at 100% with a start date according to agreement.
